Beckingham Primary School

Beckingham PTFA

About Us

Beckingham PTFA is run on a voluntary basis by parents / carers/ grandparents of children from the school and teaching staff. We organise events and initiatives in order to:

  • Raise funds to benefit all children attending the school. We purchase additional resources which are not available within the standard school budget.
  • Build and maintain a fun and active social community within the school.

We have run a number of events over the past years including:

  • Christmas Fair
  • Summer Fair
  • Wear What You Like Days
  • Fashion Show
  • Easter Disco
  • Murder  Night
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Beetle Drive
  • Mother's Day Gift Shop
  • Auction of Promises

Over the last few years, thanks to the support of parents and volunteers, we have managed to raise enough funds to purchase the Trim Trail and Climbing Wall in the school field and we have recently reached our target to raise enough funds to develop the School Garden to its full potential.

Your Help is Needed

Beckingham PTFA depends on the goodwill and support of parents, whether this through working with us on the Committee, helping out at events or turning up and supporting them.

We are aware that everyone is busy and time is limited, therefore we operate in a flexible way and appreciate all time, contacts, experience, skills and ideas. We hope you feel you are able to get involved at any time and in any way you can.

If you are interested and would like more information contact our Chair (Lindsay Blaylock) at she will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
