Welcome to Class Two

Our mixed age Year 3 and 4 class is taught by Mrs Day and is supported by Mrs Willey and Miss Mckone. Mrs James also supports, covering Mrs Day's PPA each Tuesday afternoon. 

Helpful Information

Each week, the children have two PE sessions, one on a Tuesday and another on a Wednesday. Please ensure that children come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days.

Please be reminded that long hair must be tied back and that no earrings are worn on these days. 

After Christmas, the children will swim every Monday afternoon. 

Children are expected to read to an adult at home at least three times per week. Diaries must be signed by an adult to verify these reads. 

The expectation across school is that children practice their weekly spellings on EdShed. A log in for this can be found in your child's diary. All spellings can be found further down this page too, should you struggle to access the EdShed portal.

Each week, Times Table Rock Stars homework is set. This homework will take approximately 20 minutes each week and will be monitored weekly. A log in for this can be found in your child's reading diary.

In Computing, BPS uses Purple Mash. This is a safe, secure platform where your child can use ICT to enhance learning in all areas of the curriculum.  Again, a log in is provided in your child's diary should they wish to use the learning platform at home.
